Overview of Cartflows

CartFlows is a WordPress plugin designed to help users create customized sales funnels and optimize the checkout process for e-commerce sites.

It’s built to integrate seamlessly with WooCommerce, the leading e-commerce plugin for WordPress, allowing store owners to design and implement sales funnels without needing to code.

Cartflows Review - Best Features

With CartFlows, you can create a variety of flows tailored to your sales strategy, including landing pages, checkout pages, upsell and downsell pages, and thank you pages.

It provides a range of pre-built templates and easy customization options, making it accessible for users with varying levels of technical expertise. Also, it offers incredible features that will help you create what you want, regardless of whether you are a professional or a newbie in this field. To put it simply, the skill level you have would not matter much when it comes to creating any funnel in a very limited time.

The checkout process is everyone’s no. 1 worry, and with Cartflows, that is solved too! Plus, it is super simple to use and prevents any excessive amount of cash from being thrown away just like that.

What did I like about Cartflows?

1. Complimentary Basic Version: Initiates users with a no-cost option, albeit with limited access to more advanced functionalities. This version is equipped with features like cart abandonment recovery, dynamic linking, a dual-column checkout design, and compatibility with Facebook Pixel.

2. Enhanced Sales Tactics: Facilitates the creation of compelling upsell, downsell, and order bump pages, enabling the addition of numerous such offers to elevate the average order value.

3. Customizable Funnel Templates: Offers a suite of pre-crafted funnel templates catering to a variety of business niches, including those for course vendors, online retailers, and digital book outlets. Compatibility with widely used page builders (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg, Divi Builder, Beaver Builder) simplifies template customization.

4. Dynamic Offers Based on Customer Data: Utilizes a range of customer data to present timely and relevant offers before and after the purchase, coupled with a visual depiction of checkout flows to understand the customer path better.

5. A/B Testing Capability: Supports the testing of various offer and landing page combinations within sales funnels to pinpoint the most effective strategies.

6. Proactive Cart Abandonment Intervention: Automatically captures incomplete purchase details into your CRM, facilitating personalized follow-up emails to encourage purchase completion.

7. Integration with SureTriggers for Pro Users: Enables workflow and business process automation through its integration with SureTriggers, available exclusively for Pro account holders.

What I Didn’t Like About CartFlows?

1. Single Checkout Page Limitation: Restricts users to only one checkout page per sales flow, which could limit flexibility.

2. Caching Challenges: Requires manual exclusion of checkout and upsell/downsell pages from caching, both at the plugin level and on the server, adding to setup complexity.

3. Limited Customization Without CSS: Offers basic customization options, but extensive modifications necessitate custom CSS,  restricting ease of use for those seeking deeper customization without coding.

4. Template Dependency vs. Preference for Elementor: Although CartFlows provides templates for quick setup, the preference for using Elementor for full customization capabilities highlights a desire for more freedom in design beyond the provided templates.

Funnel Building in CartFlows

CartFlows offers a feature that allows you to design and manage visual sales funnels, known as flows, directly within its interface.

This functionality enhances the mobility of your flows, providing an import/export feature that facilitates the transfer of these flows to any other website utilizing CartFlows. To access this feature, navigate to the WordPress dashboard and select the “Flows” option.

The import and export buttons enable you to transfer both the structure and settings of your flows. With the release of CartFlows’ latest version, it’s now possible to import flows complete with their content via the Export/Import menu.

Exporting a Flow: Exporting a flow is straightforward. Click on the export button or hover your mouse over a specific flow to reveal an export link. Clicking this link initiates the automatic download of the flow as a JSON file to your device.

Importing a Flow: To import a flow, select the import button and upload the JSON file that contains the flow’s details. After clicking on import, a confirmation message will display, indicating the successful upload of the flow.

Procedure for Importing Page Templates in CartFlows:

  1. Start by importing flows as JSON files.
  2. Return to the flows section, where you’ll find the newly imported flow listed in draft mode.

Given that different page builders handle content in various ways, the Import/Export functionality of CartFlows is particularly valuable. It allows you to easily move your templates across multiple websites, streamlining the process of managing your sales funnels.

How to Set Quantity and Discount for Product on the Checkout Page?

The quantity of the product and the type of discount options are so flexible that they will help you set the quantity and apply a discount to each product that you select on the checkout page in the backend settings.

You can add the quantity that you chose priorly, and with the help of discount type, you can avail of the discount on the same product that you first selected. You can also add discounts and conditions to a large number of products.

For example, you are selling a product, and you will be only given a discount if 3 packets of it are purchased, so you may fix the quantity to 3 and then avail yourself of the discount for it. Practically, you can follow the steps to explore the page of products and discounts or to edit them:

Step 1: Go to the Cartflows website

Step 2: Select flows on the home page

Step 3: Now select ‘your flow.’

Step 4: Now, to edit the quantity or something, you can select the edit button on the checkout page

Step 5: Please select the product tab and then open the product options

There are 3 options in the list when it comes to types of discounts. They are as follows:

  1. Original: On selecting this option, no discount will be availed.
  2. Discount percentage: If you choose this option, then the percentage amount of discount that you have applied to a product will be availed.
  3. Discount price: If you choose this option, then the price of the discount that you have set on a product will be available.

All these quantity and discount options are displayed directly on the checkout page of Cartflows.

With numerous marketplaces available, along with upcoming platforms like the one from Elegant Themes designed specifically for selling your creations, there’s a significant opportunity for designers. This feature allows them to leverage their design expertise to create tailored sales funnels for small businesses, consultants, and entrepreneurs.

CartFlows is the tool we utilize to craft these sales funnels, standing out as the go-to sales software within its ecosystem. Its superiority over many page builders currently available is evident in the breadth of features it offers.

The ability to construct sales funnels complete with order bumps, upsells, and downsells, all without the hefty price tag associated with traditional page builders, positions CartFlows as an exceptional choice for those just starting out.

How is the User Interface of Cartflow?

CartFlows is straightforward and simple to get started with. Much like setting up WooCommerce, you can add it as a plugin directly within WordPress, managing everything from the dashboard without needing to visit an external site.

Cartflows user interface

One of the standout features of CartFlows is its extensive library of templates. They’re constantly adding more, allowing you to easily import them, customize them as needed, and add your own content. These templates are compatible with many of the top page builders, making them versatile and user-friendly.

Let’s break down how a typical sales funnel, or “flow,” works in CartFlows:

  • First, potential customers land on a page where you showcase a product.
  • With a simple click, they can decide to buy that product.
  • The purchase process is streamlined to occur on a single page, eliminating the need for multiple steps like adding items to a cart or modifying quantities on different pages. It’s designed to be a hassle-free, one-step process.

Additionally, CartFlows offers upsell options, similar to how fast-food restaurants suggest adding fries or a drink to your order. This approach can significantly increase the average sale amount and overall revenue per transaction. Finally, the journey concludes with a thank you page, rounding off a smooth and efficient buying experience.

Customer Support of Cartflows:

cartflows customer support

The support system here is very helpful, too. There is an option for a live chat where you can ask any questions about pre-sale present on the pricing page before you choose to sign up.

Well, I was quite impressed by the speed of response on live chat. Plus, there is a Facebook group on which the founder himself makes an effort to talk to the audience and answer many useful questions.

Another helpful tactic implemented by the developers of this platform is that they have an official YouTube channel where they film videos regarding the features of the product.

The way they display the set of features of each plan has also made it helpful for customers to check if what they want is available on the product.
