ServerPress is a local server programme designed to create WordPress, bbPress, and BuddyPress. It has a function that allows us to install WordPress faster than before. We’re ready to install WordPress once Apache and MySQL are running.
Because both Pow and ServerPress use a.dev domain name, you may need to deactivate or delete Pow before continuing.
Select Create a new WordPress project to get started.
Choose a WordPress version and a domain name. The Site Root section shows the site’s installation location.
Click Next button. ServerPress will automatically set tables, servername, virtualhost, etc. Create an Admin user for your site next.
Your new site is ready.
Changing Domain Names
With ServerPress, you can easily move or clone your existing sites to a new domain name.
Choose to delete, copy, or relocate a website.
Choose whether to copy, transfer, or delete your site. In this example, as shown in the screenshot below, I want to relocate my website to a new domain name.
Create a new site domain. Then, in the Site Root area, you can specify the website folder location. Click Next. It will handle anything. We’re done.
